This is the start and first 9+ laps of the 50-lap HPRA race for Stock & Women's classes. Held at the Major Taylor Velodrome, Indianapolis, Indiana, April 25, 2009. I focused primarily on Sean Costin, eventual race winner, as he lapped the other racers. Sean is riding a carbon fiber Velokraft NoCom lowracer recumbent bike, with some of his own custom modifications. He averaged 29.996 mph for the 50 laps.
