In two short videos, Frosty Morning Blues and Ice is Nice--Fun at 15 Degrees, I wanted to create contrasting moods of frigid weather riding. In the first, I tried to link the slow blues sound with the association we sometimes make between cold and lonely. All video is shot from the trike, from the subjective, introspective point of view of the rider. In the second, all shots are of the trike and rider, to a fast-paced bluegrass (of course) instrumental. We have had five days at 12 or below--that never happens here. I rode across the water on the trike only bridge, and a week later yanked it out and rode on the ice.
