Thousands enjoyed the great entertainment and fun atmosphere at Bupa Around the Bay Festival at the Alexandra Gardens on the weekend. The festival culminated in the Bupa Around the Bay ride on Sunday, with fine weather and a huge turnout. We have uploaded clips of the Melbourne starts to the 250km, 210km, 100km and 50km events, and the Sorrento 100km event, to YouTube The Metaphysic High racer was ridden 140 kms from Geelong to Melbourne, via Queenscliff and Sorrento. Gearing is 33/52-11/28. Wheels Fulcrum racing 3 Two Way fit with Hutchinson Fusion 3 tyres. Bike weight approx 11 kg. Rider age 68.
