I took a ride with some friends whose group is from out of Orange County, They ride with "butts on bikes" in the inland empire. http://www.meetup.com/ButtsOnBikes-InlandEmpire It was quite a challenge to ride with some road bikes up all those hills in Santiago Canyon. The guys were gracious enough to wait up for me. I also pushed pretty hard after a few weeks of slacking off my weekly miles. I was SORE half way through the ride and the day after!
