A short promotion for the feature length documentary film Ride with Larry. Join us at kck.st/​faTC3H Ride with Larry is the story of Larry Smith, a retired police captain and avid cyclist with advanced Parkinson's disease and his quest to live a fulfilled life to the very end. Larry Smith runs a small but famous bakery, Mister Smith's, and has a special symbiotic relationship with the community of Vermillion, South Dakota. The film follows Larry during his quest to bike across his state, pushing his limits and expanding the boundary of possibilities for those with Parkinson's. With this bike ride and documentary film, we hope to raise awareness and de-stigmatize Parkinson's disease while inspiring all those diagnosed, their family, friends, and caretakers. Ride with Larry is sponsored by the International Documentary Association (IDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means contributions on behalf of Ride with Larry are tax deductible.
